
What should I bring with me?
Visitors are welcome to pack a picnic lunch, but please remember to properly dispose of any garbage or extra food when you leave! Remember to dress for the weather, and bring along a water bottle and comfortable footwear.
How can I book my visit?
Please book a time slot on our "Plan Your Visit" page here. Please note that reservations are required as we are a private homestead and do not accept drop-ins.
Is there seating available?
Yes! we have several family picnic tables in the back flower field, as well as benches spread around the property.
Can I bring my dog?
We kindly ask that you leave your pets at home before your visit at Redeeming Acres to ensure a smooth experience for you and our animals.
What is there to do for kids?
There is something for the whole family at Redeeming Acres! Children can participate in our alpaca experiences (with adult supervision) and there is a swing set on-site for play, plus lots of space to run around and explore!
Is there parking?
Yes - we have ample free parking available. When you arrive, please follow the signs!
Do you have washroom facilities?
We have an accessible porta potty available on-site.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Our homestead grounds are relatively flat, and there are no raised structures. As well, our porta potty is fully accessible.
What happens if I can't make my booking or have to cancel?
Please be advised that we do not offer refunds on our property visits or alpaca experience bookings. Should you need to reschedule, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice via email at contact@redeemingacres.ca. Upon receipt of your email, we will connect with you to arrange a booking on a different date. Should we not receive sufficient notice, or you do not show up for your booking, the booking fee will be applied as a no-show fee and will not be transferable to a future date.
